Traditional Quyi course

Course Introduction

Quyi has a long historical standing and unique charm. It is a valuable intangible cultural heritage in China. It has a great significance to promot the inheritance and development of Quyi.

The traditional Quyi course include six parts: Dulcimer, Pingtan, Drum, Pinghua, Beijing Pingshu and Crosstalk. While learning traditional Quyi classes, we will understand the basic knowledge of the course, and will learn traditional performance under the guidance of professional teachers. There are 40 periods in this major course. In the 40 periods, we will take students to feel the charm of tradition.

Course Features

Professors from art schools, professional actors and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage are specially invited to teach students. Students will also learn the performance of traditional folk art under the guidance of professional teachers. There is also an opportunity for students to become inheritors of traditional culture.
